Authentication for mobile app clocking

Follow the steps in this article to access and/or edit the authentication for your employees.

Notes:

• Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.

To manage mobile app clocking authentication on an employee profile:

1. Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
2. Click on the People tab.
3. Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
4. Click the Clocking Management tab.
5. Click the slider button for the Allow Smartphone Clocking setting to enable/disable mobile app clocking for the selected employee.
6. Click the hyperlink for the List of Geolocations option to configure location-based restrictions for the selected employee.
7. Click the slider button for the Global setting to enable/disable mobile app clocking restrictions for the selected employee.
8. Click the box(es) to select/deselect the allowed location(s) for the selected employee.
9. Click the SAVE button for the Geo-locations settings.
10. Click the SAVE button.
