Add Clocking Widget

Add clockings to your employees’ timecards right from the dashboard. With this widget, you can add clockings for a single employee or an entire department.  Use it for future group events or off-site meetings and tasks.

Notes:

• You can customise your dashboard to enable or disable and rearrange the widgets displayed for you.
• Supervisors will only see data from their responsible departments on their dashboards.
• Employees do not have access to the dashboard.

To navigate the Add Clocking widget on the uAttend dashboard:

1. Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
2. Scroll to the Add Clocking widget on the uAttend dashboard.
3. Note the add Clocking options (listed below) to add a clocking using this widget.
   • Search Employee - Use to add a clockings for an individual employee.
   • Group Clocking - Use to add a clocking for up to all employees in the intended department.
4. Enter the name of the intended employee to add a clocking for in the Search Employee section and click the SEARCH button.
5. Select the intended employee from the search results.
   • You can click the View Timecard button to navigate to the selected employee's timecard (if needed).
6. Click the Add Clocking button.
7. Click the drop-down menu and select a Clocking Type option (listed below) from the list.
   • In/Out - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
   • Break - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
   • Lunch - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
   • Job - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, the job number, and if applicable the job detail number, along with an optional note.
   • Benefit - Enter the intended date for the event, the benefit type (listed below), and the intended benefit hours to be used, along with an optional note.
     • Annual Leave
     • Sick
     • Public Holiday
     • Other
8. Click the SAVE button.
9. Click the drop-down menu and select the intended department to add a clocking for in the Group Clocking section and click the SEARCH button. 
10. Select the intended employee(s) from the selected department.
11. Click the Add Clocking button.
12. Click the drop-down menu and select a Clocking Type option (listed below) from the list.
    • In/Out - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
    • Break - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
    • Lunch - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
    • Job - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, the job number, and if applicable the job detail number, along with an optional note.
    • Benefit - Enter the intended date for the event, the benefit type (listed below), and the intended benefit hours to be used, along with an optional note.
      • Annual Leave
      • Sick
      • Public Holiday
      • Other
13. Click the SAVE button.
