Enable Web Clocking with No IP Restrictions Follow
Enabling this feature will give your employees access to clock in and out using the cloud portal.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- IP address restrictions can be imposed on your employees' ability to access the web portal.
- Configure your whole team for web clocking using the Utility tool.
- Provide the ability for employees to view their timecard if you're setting them up for web clocking.
To configure web clocking for an employee:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
- Enter the employee's email address in the Contact Information section.
- Click the Invite User hyperlink.
- Click the Clocking Management tab from the navigation panel on the left.
- Click the slider button to select Enable/Disable web clocking for this employee.
- Click the SAVE button.
