Send an Email when an Employee Clocks Follow
Maybe your busy schedule keeps you away from your computer, yet you still want to be notified when someone clocks in or out. uAttend's notification system can keep you informed via email. Here’s how to set that up.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- The email addresses used must be unique.
- This feature only sends notifications for clocking in and out; it does not notify for lunch or break clockings.
To send a notification by email when an employee clocks:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
- Click the More tab from the navigation panel on the left.
- Click the EDIT button in the People Settings section.
- Click the EDIT button on the line for the Notify Of Clocking by Email option.
- Click the drop-down menu and select YES.
- Enter the email address for this notification.
- Click the SAVE button.
