Daily Overtime Follow
Daily Overtime allows you to track and calculate extra hours worked by employees beyond their regular hours on a day-by-day basis.
There are two rates of overtime in uAttend: OT1 and OT2.
Daily Overtime is configured at the department level but is always applied from the employee’s home department.
Daily Overtime calculations are based only on regular worked hours and do not include benefit hours such as Annual Leave, Sick Leave, or Public Holidays.
How Overtime Can Be Calculated
Daily Overtime can be calculated in two ways:
- By Hours Worked: Overtime begins once an employee exceeds a set number of hours in a day.
- By Hour of the Day: Overtime is applied during specific times, for example, from 17:00 to 21:00
You can also:
- Set an Overtime Rate to multiply the employee's regular hourly rate.
- Set Minimum Hours to ensure only overtime above a certain amount is applied.
