Authentication for Landline Phone Clocking

Follow the steps in this article to access and/or edit the authentication for your employees.

Notes:

• Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.

To manage landline phone clocking authentication on an employee profile:

1. Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
2. Click on the People tab.
3. Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
4. Click the Clocking Management tab.
5. Click the slider button for the Caller ID Security setting to enable/disable landline phone clocking restrictions for the selected employee.
6. Click the hyperlink for the List of Caller IDs option to configure Caller ID-based restrictions for the selected employee.
7. Click the Add Caller ID button to add an allowed phone number to the list of Caller IDs.
8. Enter the phone number of the Caller ID for the allowed Caller IDs.
9. Enter a Name for the allowed Caller ID.
10. Click the SAVE button for the Caller ID settings.
